The Kentucky Branch of AALAS established a
Rookie of the Year Award on May 17, 2001. This award is to show
appreciation and reward a new member for his/her immediate contribution
to die branch. Their contribution could be their leadership capability,
willingness to serve, sharing knowledge acquired from other
organizations, etc. The recipient would receive a 7x9 inch plaque and
the next year's branch dues paid. Nominations must be submitted to
Awards Committee by February 14th.
AwardCriteria
1. Member of branch not less than nine
months, but no more than 18 months.
2. Served or chaired on one committee.
3. Has attended a majority of branch
general meetings and functions.
4. Name a significant impact this
individual has made to the branch in a short period of time to be
considered for this award.

Nomination should be double spaced and
no more than two pages.
Nomination should include at least one
endorsement, but no more than three.
Nomination should include name of
committee served by nominee.
