Member of the Year Award
The Kentucky Branch of AALAS established the
Outstanding Member of the Year Award on May 17, 2001. This award is opened
for nomination to ALL branch members that meet the award's criteria. It is
to recognize any member who has contributed extra time and effort to the
branch. The recipient would receive a 7x9 inch plaque and the next year's
branch dues paid. Nominations must be submitted to Awards Committee by
February 14th.
Award Criteria

1. Candidate must be a member in good
standing, such as having paid membership dues on or before March 31 ".
Candidate can be animal handler, supervisor, veterinarian, vendor,
office personnel and/or lab technician.

2. In the last 9-12 months, has served on
two committees or chaired one.

3. Has attended a majority of branch
general membership meetings and functions.

4. Name the significant contribution/s
this individual has made to the branch to make him/her an award
candidate.
Nomination Packet
to Include the Following:
-
Nomination must be made by branch member
in good standing, membership paid by March 31".

Nomination packet should be doubled spaced
and no more than two pages.
-
Nomination can have up to three one-page
endorsement letters.

Nomination should include names of
committees served by nominee.
